Basix Compliance

BASIX compliance is required for all new development and complying development applications associated with:

    • Single dwellings
    • Dual occupancy dwellings
    • Granny Flats/ Secondary Dwellings
    • Townhouses
    • Multi-Residential Dwellings
    • Alterations & additions greater or equal to $50,000
    • Swimming pools and Spas

How To Achieve Basix Compliance

To demonstrate compliance with each of the three BASIX sustainability targets, you will require a BASIX certificate. The BASIX certificate is generated by an accredited BASIX assessor using the online BASIX assessment tool.
